Delivered When We Say
A builder's program depends on the engineering arriving when it was promised, so the practice is run around the date. Every accepted job carries one, and the work is scheduled across the whole team rather than sitting in one person's inbox, so a job does not stall because somebody is busy or away.
- A date at acceptance. You know when the job will be delivered from the day we take it on. Current turnarounds for each service are on the services page.
- The clock starts on clear inputs. Each turnaround runs from receiving what the design depends on, such as the soil test report, the survey or the framing details, and we tell you at the start if anything is missing.
- A call before a date moves. If something outside our control is going to move a date, you hear it from us first, with the new date.
- Paid priority when you need it sooner. Urgent design work can go to the front of the queue, with the surcharge shown and agreed before you book.
Quality You Can Hand to a Certifier
- Designed to the code. Work is designed to the National Construction Code and the relevant Australian Standards, and documented to what South Australian councils and private certifiers assess against.
- Nothing issued unreviewed. Independent review on every set, with the reviewer recorded against the job.
- Certifier questions answered directly. Requests for information go to the engineer who did the work and are answered by us, not passed back to you.
- One file per address. Come back for the next stage and we already hold the survey, the soil classification and the earlier design. Nothing is re-tested, and nothing is re-charged.
- Insured. Professional indemnity and public liability cover are held for the work we do. Ask and we will send the current certificate of currency.
Experience and Standards
The engineering is led by senior engineers whose experience covers new homes and extensions, multi-unit developments, commercial and industrial projects, retaining and site works, and the assessment of existing buildings. That leadership holds a Master of Structural Engineering, a Master of Engineering Management and membership of Engineers Australia (MIE Aust), and practises under the Engineers Australia code of ethics, which is the standard our work is answerable to.
Who We Work With
- Volume and project home builders who need the same standard of engineering on the hundredth house as on the first, on a steady schedule. How we work with builders.
- Developers with several dwellings on one site, who need the footings, framing and site works coordinated as one job.
- Architects and designers whose design should survive the engineering intact. How we work with architects.
- Homeowners building, extending or renovating, who want a clear answer and a fee agreed up front.
Where We Work
Metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. If you're unsure whether your site is within range, ask. The answer is usually yes.
